Flipping love a lamb burger and you don’t see these too often. Paired with some homemade tzatziki these made an absolutely delicious burger!
250g Lamb mince
1tsp dried Mint
3tbsp natural yogurt
2 cloves garlic, grated
1/2 block of halloumi
Serve with – wedges!
Mix the lamb mince with the dried mint, 1 clove of garlic and some salt and pepper. Form into patties and put in the fridge.
Once ready to cook, heat some oil in a pan and when hot add the patties. Flatten slightly and fry for about 5 mins each side.
Meanwhile grate the cucumber and 1 garlic clove and stir both into the yogurt.
Leave the patties to rest in foil. Use some paper towel to remove the bulk of the oil from the pan and keep on the heat. Add the buns to the pan and let them toast slightly on the inside. Remove and add the halloumi strips.
These cook for a couple of minutes on each side until golden.
Pile up – bun, tzatziki, burger, halloumi.
We could have eaten many many more than one of these delights!
