I love loveeee a chicken burger. We had bought some chicken breasts and we had some chilli, ginger and lime in the fridge so I thought I’d make a fresh burger to enjoy that evening! It was actually really easy to make and super tasty!
Ingredients
Half red chilli
2 x knob ginger about 2-3cm each
1 Lime, zest
2 x garlic
Chicken breasts x 2, cut into chunks
3-4 tbsp mayonnaise
Lime juice (3/4)
1 tsp soy sauce
Serve with: burger buns, iceberg lettuce, salad and some potatoes wedges
Method
Blend the chicken breasts with the chilli, ginger, garlic and lime zest until it is a smooth paste.
Mould into 2 patties. Heat some oil into a pan and fry the patties for approx 5-6 minutes each side, until the chicken is cooked through.
Mix the mayonnaise with the lime juice and soy sauce.
When the patties are done, add some mayo to the burger buns, a slice of iceberg lettuce and the burger. Add the fries to side with some salad and enjoy!
So bloody good!
