Spaghetti Bolognese is the boyfriends absolute favourite dinner ever, and I rarely make it as weirdly it’s not my favourite pasta dish! As it was his birthday I decided I would treat him and make him his fave! This literally takes 30 minutes and is so rich and flavoursome!
Ingredients
500g beef mince meat
400g chopped tomatoes
1 onion, finely chopped
2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 beef stock pot (like this) (no water necessary just the pot)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp Worcester sauce
Spaghetti
Method
Pop a saucepan of water on to boil and cook the spaghetti to packet instructions.
Gently fry the onion and garlic in a large frying pan for 5 minutes or so until soft.
Add the mince with half a tsp of cumin, half a tsp of paprika and half a tsp of chilli powder. Mix together.
Add in the chopped tomatoes, 1 tbsp Worcester sauce and the beef stock pot. Stir through and pop the lid on the pan for about 15 minutes. After this time add the remaining cumin, paprika, chilli powder and Worcester sauce and let this cook for about 10 minutes – stir occasionally.
When the pasta is cooked, portion up the pasta and dollop on some lovely spaghetti Bol.Finish with a little grating of parmesan.
Enjoy!
Love, A x
