Side Dish: Chorizo Potatoes

I thought today I would post the SIMPLEST recipe, an excellent side dish for any occasion! It is a way of making those carbs just a little bit fancier!


New potatoes – as many as required/desired

Chorizo – Approx 100g 

Optional extras: 3-4 cloves of garlic/red onion


Chop the potatoes into chunks/cubes and add to a roasting tin. Season with salt and pepper. 

Slice the chorizo into cubes and add to the tray. 

If you are using the extras slice the red onion up and throw the garlic in (no need to remove skins).


Pop in the oven at around 180 degrees Celsius fan and cook for around 30-40 minutes. You want crispy potatoes and even crispier chorizo! In this instance you don’t need oil as the chorizo will give off its own. 


This is so indulgent but I great addition to a simpler main!
